What To Do When Your Lenders Say No (Mindset)

What's up, family?! We're back and this week we're discussing an important aspect of real estate investing. We preach the value of finding a great deal, but unless you have hundreds of thousands of dollars of capital on hand, you're likely going to need a cash buyer to purchase your latest wholesale deal or an investor to fund your latest fix-and-flip project. And there's nothing wrong with that; we encourage our listeners to use OPM (other people's money) to fund their projects. But just as we implore you to educate yourself on industry practices and trends so you can be good stewards of the money people invest with you, these investors are going to want evidence that you can deliver results and bring them a positive return on their investment. Banks and private lenders get requests for their money all the time, and if they don't see a clear path to profits in your proposal, they're going to say no. What should you as an investor do when you get pushback from your lenders on funding your next deal?
